Jim Butler was born in Dublin and currently lives in Manchester. As well as working as a freelance artist specialising in drawing, collage and printmaking with both private and corporate commissions , he teaches part time on the B.A. Illustration with Animation at Manchester Metropolitan University. He has exhibited widely, both nationally and internationally. His work is normally produced on location using ink and collage and captures not only the architectural character of a building, but also emphasises the context of its location. |
