Bob Marshall MSAI

I am an Architectural Illustrator and Digital (3D) Reconstruction Artist presently working at English Heritage, which I joined in March 2022. Prior to this I worked on a freelance basis, producing detailed architectural illustrations for heritage visitor attractions across the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. My work appears on interpretation signage, as well as in books and educational publications, animations and interactive multimedia. My past clients include English Heritage, The Royal Collection Trust, Historic Environment Scotland, Historic Royal Palaces, Cairngorms National Park Authority, University of Aberdeen, University of Wales Trinity Saint David, and Glasgow School of Art. My interests are architectural history – particularly ecclesiastical subjects, history of art, and outdoor pursuits. I am a member of the Scottish Castles Association. I am no longer able to accept freelance commissions, but I have joined the SAI to broaden my connections with fellow professional artists, and where possible, share and contribute some of my experiences with others.
