The Athenaeum Club. Established in 1824 in St. James, London. The club was set up for the scientific and intelligent community. The goddess Athena goddess of wisdom looks over the entrance. The freeze is a copy of the Parthenon. Wonderful work by the architect Decimus Burton (called Decimous because he was the 10th child)
