EL CHAPARRITO, CADIZ

Typical scenes from the Province of Cadiz, where the most modest of rural dwelling to small rural castles make for compelling sketching subjects.

All within 25km of Jerez De La Frontera in Cadiz, the sketches were prepared during different seasons including the clear blue skies and overwhelming heat of the summer months through the more comfortable autumn, and then the cooler sometimes grey and damp winter months to the sometimes wet but very pleasant Spring months; and often sketched whilst enjoying a cool beer or warming ‘cafe manchado’ in a close-by cafe or garden.
