Illustrator

I am an illustrator and building historian based in Devon, specialising in pencil drawings of historic buildings.

Since completing my master’s in Building History at Cambridge University 2020, I have established an illustration practice alongside working as a freelance heritage consultant. Commission clients include Andrew Brownsword Hotels, Saunders Boston Architects, Peterhouse Cambridge, Pembroke College Cambridge, White Eagle Lodge and private individuals. My prints are sold by the National Trust and several Cambridge colleges.

I studied BA Architecture at Cambridge University, where I spent 3 years developing my ideas through sketching, measured hand drawing, scale models and visualisations. After graduating, I worked for Dow Jones Architects and Richard Griffiths Architects, where I produced drawings for buildings including St Albans Cathedral, Bedales School and The Charterhouse. I am one of six artists selected for Kingsbrae International Residency for the Arts 2023 in New Brunswick, Canada.

I now create commissioned drawings of historical and contemporary subjects, both as artworks in their own right, and for interpretation and visualisation purposes.
