Selling artist, Chartered Building Surveyor, conservation accredited historic buildings consultant, (now semi retired). Anglican priest ( self supporting). Gained A level art at 15 yrs old. did not pursue art until later in life. Four selling exhibitions since 2000 averaging 60% sales. I prefer painting the ordinary in plain sight, evocative things other people ignore, alternative views, with a mild sense of humour. Line and wash, en plein air, but often finished in the studio. MA in pastoral theology included thesis on the relationship between abstract art and pastoral praxis.
